Stay awhile,
Take my hand and lets float on by
In the clouds,
Catch the suns rays and be mesmerised
Flying high,
Look down below at the world beneath
Gravity
Leave behind what youve learned of it
Theres a time,
A time and a place for everything
Here and now,
Or somewhere else, change it on a whim
In the end
The outcomes may justify the means
After all
We are flesh and blood, not cold machines
In the air,
Embrace the wind and flow with it
Rain or shine
It doesnt matter; its what we make of it
Leave this place,
Dont look back, whatever you do
Hear my voice,
The eternal, soothing, comforting and true
Time to go,
Embark on a road never travelled upon
Feel my heart,
Hear it beating for you, as were sailing on
How long to go,
Who knows, well march along to our own pace
And when we're there
Well fall asleep in an aeonian embrace
On this loving life,
Happiness I cry,
As I die by your side....
unfortunataly I'm sorta swamped right now, due to a few vacations and evil assignments... I've 93 deviations I need to comment on, or at least look at, and 115 messages to reply to. Not to mention a few other people who's galleries I have to look at.. so it may take me awhile to get around to you
I must say, this was a pleasant surprise to read. Most of the poems here on DA are depressing, dark, or so sugar-sweet that it becomes ridiculous.
This was remarkably refreshing to read. From the very first line it struck me as the perfect scenario for a romantic film. I think I might watch you, just to make sure I don't miss anything like this in the future
As far as the poems on DA go...it might have something to do with the average age of the writer. When compared to most of the authors I have ran across here, I'm as close to a grandfather as you'll get
Please, no film references...I work in this God forsaken industry.
but satisfaction brought it back!
