It’s not really worth it all
There’s nothing tangible
Awaiting behind that door
The hand that leads
Leads me astray
And the sun won’t rise
There won’t be another day

There’s only so much that I see
Blind to the chains that bind
We’re never really free
The beaten path
To a dead end street
Caught in a daydream
Always incomplete
Maybe
I can’t have what I want
Never really cared
My indifference that I flaunt
Going nowhere fast
Following the signs
This is who I am
Read between the lines
